Yes! Rooted Speech Therapy is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield Texas. For all other insurances, a Superbill can be provided if you wish to use your out-of-network benefits. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance provider to find out what is covered under your out-of-network benefits. Please note provision of a superbill does not guarantee out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance provider.

Every person is unique and requires different a timeframe in order to reach their goals. Our goal is to help you or your child progress through speech therapy as quickly as possible to be an independent communicator and thrive! The duration of therapy also depends on dedication to daily practice at home.
How often are speech therapy sessions?

Therapy sessions are 1:1 and highly individualized. Session frequency and duration depend on individual needs. However, they are typically 1-2x/week and last 30 minutes.
If my child receives speech therapy at school, can we also work with you?
Of course! Many families choose to seek out a private speech-language pathologist trained in orofacial myofunctional therapy because this type of therapy is typically not provided in the public schools. Private therapy also provides additional support outside of school speech therapy since it is one-on-one and involves parent involvement. Sometimes children with speech issues may not qualify for school services if their difficulties are not severe enough or do not have an educational impact in the school setting.

YES! Orofacial myofunctional disorders affect people across the lifespan from infants through adulthood. We love partnering with adults to help relieve symptoms and provide holistic care. We provide teletherapy services for your convenience!
